Photography.
I took my first photography class in high school because I heard it was going to be an easy A. After the first two weeks of class I started to become really invested in the art. My teacher made learning the ins and outs of the camera extremely simple and her passion for photography was inspiring.
We started the class using pin-hole photography, then moved onto film and ended with digital. The pin-hole and film photography was mostly trial and error but it was really gratifying to work in the dark room and produce quality images.
I don’t practice pin-hole or film photography anymore, but I still use digital frequently. I had no interest in photography before my classes in high school and I now have grown to love the art and appreciate how photos can solidify a memory forever. I love to travel and you’ll always find me with my camera. Below, you can see a number of photos from my travels and inspirations.
